TetherBridge Monitor (macOS) - User Manual
================================================================

A small floating bar (like Fujifilm X Acquire) that receives the
photos from the TetherBridge iOS app and drops them into a folder
you choose - so any software watching that folder can auto-import
them. It also shows the camera in use, the last shot's settings
(SS / F / ISO / EXP / WB) and a live preview.

No Lightroom and no Xcode required.

----------------------------------------------------------------
REQUIREMENTS
----------------------------------------------------------------

- macOS 12 or later (Apple Silicon or Intel).
- Mac and iPhone/iPad on the SAME Wi-Fi (or the iPhone's
  Personal Hotspot).
- The TetherBridge app on the iPhone/iPad.

----------------------------------------------------------------
FIRST RUN
----------------------------------------------------------------

1. Double-click "TetherBridge Monitor.app".
   - First time, macOS may warn (the app is not signed):
     right-click the app > Open > Open.
2. Choose the destination FOLDER when asked (where photos land).
3. Allow "Local Network" access if macOS prompts (needed to
   receive over Wi-Fi).

The bar stays on top. Your Mac now appears in the TetherBridge
app as a receiver named "<your Mac> (Mac)".

----------------------------------------------------------------
HOW TO USE
----------------------------------------------------------------

- On the iPhone/iPad: connect the camera by USB-C and shoot.
- Each photo is saved into your chosen folder and the bar updates
with the camera, settings and preview.
- Point your editor's auto-import / watched-folder feature at the
same folder (e.g. Lightroom Auto Import, Capture One Hot Folder,
  Photo Mechanic, etc.).

Change folder anytime: click the folder button in the bar.
Quit: Cmd-Q (or close the window).

----------------------------------------------------------------
NOTES
----------------------------------------------------------------

- Files keep the camera/app name; if two collide, a -1, -2 suffix
is added so nothing is overwritten.
- Settings shown come from each photo's EXIF; the camera name also
comes from the app. RAW files show their embedded preview.
- This tool only DROPS files in a folder. If you want true catalog
import into Lightroom Classic, use the TetherBridge Lightroom
  plugin instead.
